16 B3 swimmers and even more B3 parents returned to Cleveland on Sunday, Mother’s Day, after an exciting and successful weekend swimming at the Carmel Spring Fling, hosted by Carmel Swim Club in Carmel, Indiana. The Friday, Saturday, and Sunday meet weekend was filled with fast swimming and fun, including a team dinner at Arni’s in Carmel.
Overall in the month of May, B3 swimmers competing at meets have improved by more than 730 seconds. That’s an average of 30-40 seconds per swimmer who has competed. Several swimmers have already improved more than 100 seconds individually.
Congratulations to the swimmers. Your hard work continues to lead you to improved results. Your support of each other’s goals is evident in the way that you practice each day. And you are making a positive contribution to the sport of swimming not just in Northeast Ohio, but in other areas too!
Finally, thank you to all the Mothers who drive their swimmers daily to practice, to meets (sometimes 4-5 hours away!), volunteer their talents and time to make B3 great, and most importantly give their swimmers all the love and support that they could ever hope for. Hats off to you!
The mission of B3 Aquatics is to develop champions both in and out of the pool. Our vision is to teach swimmers how to make positive contributions on 3 different levels:
B3 Aquatics uses donations to help offset the cost of pool rental, to help swimmers pay their club dues, to help purchase training equipment, and to further our mission to develop champions both in and out of the pool. Thank you for your consideration and support.
